About us

Beeswax and Bottlecaps is an independent production house led by George Le Couteur and Lil Tulloch, specializing in circus, vaudeville, and variety. With over 20 years of combined experience, we create innovative, high-energy performances that blend theatrical storytelling with spectacle.

Critically acclaimed works include The Boy Who Was Born with a Moustache (2017, Sydney Fringe Kids Award Winner), Training Wheels (2018-2019), and Gandini’s Medical Marvels. Recent highlights include the Sydney Spiegeltent Season (The Gagliardies, 2024), Circus Quirkus, and the Sydney Royal Easter Show (2022, 2024, 2025).

B&B has delivered large-scale activations and roving entertainment for major events, including Luna Park’s Halloscream, The Star Casino’s Lunar New Year and Spring Campaigns, and Australia Day Live. We also excel in creating innovative Placemaking Activations for corporate clients, precincts and destinations. Our work is known for its originality, playfulness, and theatrical precision.

At Beeswax and Bottlecaps, we believe in laughter. Big, ridiculous, can’t-catch-your-breath belly laughs. The kind that sneak up on you, shake the dust off your soul, and remind you that life is meant to be a little bit silly.

In a world that can feel a bit grim, we make space for joy. Our shows are for everyone—big humans, small humans, humans who haven’t quite figured out how to juggle (yet). We believe in the power of having a go, of wobbling before you soar, of embracing the beautifully bizarre bits that make us all unique.

At the end of the day, we’re here to connect people, to dissolve the “I can’t” and turn it into “Maybe I could…” We’re here to remind the world that play is important, laughter is essential, and absolutely everyone—no matter how wobbly, weird, or wonderfully out-of-the-box—deserves a chance to shine.
